Education
Elizabeth Pratt graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Baylor University, with a B.A., in 1985 and from Baylor School of Law in 1987, where she was published in the Baylor Law Review.Activities
In addition to participating actively in professional organizations, Ms. Pratt has presented talks on numerous legal issues to a multitude of trade and management groups, as well as at seminars sponsored by the Labor and Employment Section of the State Bar of Texas and numerous local bar associations. She served as Employee Relations Chair for the Southeast Texas Chapter of the Texas Association of Business for over 10 years.She has contributed time to numerous charitable causes and has held offices in many such organizations, including the presidencies of the Humane Society of Southeast Texas and the Junior League of Beaumont and vice presidency of the Southeast Texas Food Bank.
Memberships and Honors
In 2000, Ms. Pratt was selected as the Outstanding Young Lawyer of Jefferson County and has been chosen as a Texas Monthly “Super Lawyer” simce 2005 and has been selected as a "Super Lawyer" in the Corporate Counsel Edition, Labor and Employment Defense since 2008. Ms. Pratt is active in state and national defense bar groups and has held numerous offices in local bar organizations. She is currently a member of the District 3A Unathorized Practice of Law Committee, a Supreme Court of Texas appointment, and recently received a commendation from the group. She is a member of the College of the State Bar of Texas and a Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation and holds an AV rating from Martindale Hubbell.
