Matt Marchak joined MehaffyWeber as an associate in 2002 in the firm’s Beaumont office and became a shareholder in 2009. Prior to his employment with MehaffyWeber, he was a senior claim representative for Allstate Insurance Company for seven years. His primary practice areas include corporate, real estate, probate, creditor's rights and commercial litigation. Matt also practices in the areas of premises liability, insurance defense, products liability and commercial litigation.

Education

Matt graduated from Lamar University with a BBA in Marketing in 1994. In 2002 he received a Doctorate of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law summa cum laude in 2002 where he was the recipient of the Valedictorian Award.

Matt is presently a member of the Young Lawyers Committee of the Texas Association of Defense Counsel. He is currently a Board member of the Port Arthur Y.M.C.A.
