Wade Carpenter joined MehaffyWeber in 1997 and became a shareholder with the firm in 2003. Wade manages a statewide toxic tort docket for one of the firm's major clients and has worked closely with other MehaffyWeber lawyers on defending clients in toxic tort and products liability cases. Wade has also defended insurance companies in a variety of First Party Claims, handled construction law claims, and has worked on a variety of commercial disputes for both large companies and locally owned businesses.Areas of Concentration

Education
Wade is a graduate of Texas A&M University (B.B.A. Finance, 1994) where he participated in and graduated from the College of Business Honors Program. In 1997, Wade graduated magna cum laude from Texas Tech University School of Law. At Texas Tech, he was a member of the Order of the Coif, Phi Kappa Phi, and of the Board of Barristers.
Activities
Wade has been involved in various civic and charitable activities including coaching youth basketball and baseball, Boy Scouts, The Beaumont Chamber of Commerce, Leadership Beaumont (Class of 2000) and the Jefferson County Young Lawyers as both an officer and a director. He graduated from the IADC Trial Academy in 2001.Memberships and Honors
Wade is currently a member of the State Bar of Texas, the Jefferson County Bar Association, the Jefferson County Young Lawyers Association, the Defense Research Institute, and the Michelle F. Mehaffy Inn of Court .
He was named a "Texas Rising Star" in Texas Monthly magazine from 2006 to 2009.
